The alienating parent will put on a good show for the world to see. They will tell others that the children choose not to talk to their mom/dad. When in all reality, that's what the kids want most of all.
If the kids call them on their behavior, they back track. Then they guilt the kids if they know they want to talk to the "other parent!" It's a sick, twisted game they play. Causing confusion, guilt and more sadness.
**** this has been confirmed by alienated children themselves. They witness it daily. All these kids want, is to be able to talk to BOTH parents without any problems.
Some kids, find a way to communicate. They learn to live in secrecy. They learn to hide things, fearing what would happen if they got caught talking to his/her mom/dad.
These kids are hurting. They are fighting for peace. They are struggling to make sense of the lies they have been told. They are finding ways to have both parents in their lives, while living on the edge of fear.
This is a very sad way for our children to live. But this is the life of an alienated kid. Stuck.
But the alienators, DON'T CARE!!! If they did, they would allow the kids to have both parents in their life without consequences.
