People of Sault Ste Marie Ontario Canada deserve to know what the Algoma Children's Aid Society says about you when you're not around. I am deeply hurt by the actions of a Children's Aid Society intake worker and her fellow co-workers.

I have been going through a very arduous custody battle with my ex husband. After an incident that occurred on Thursday at my son's school I contacted them for some advice. I spent an hour speaking with Wendy who seemed to genuinely care about my concerns for my special needs son Aiden. At the end of our conversation she advised me that she would discuss my concerns with her supervisor and would call me back. Wendy returned my call promptly this morning, unfortunately I missed it. I called the society back and was connected to the intake worker. I advised this lady as to who I was and that I was returning Wendy's call.

The intake worker asked me to hold, I kindly obliged. What she didn't realize was that she had not put me on hold. The conversation that occurred next has left me in tears.

Wendy walks into the room and the intake worker proceeds to ask her if she was expecting a call from some Amanda Moore chick. Wendy begins to laugh and says oh yea...hey (name of another coworker) I had to talk to that girl for an hour yesterday it was insane uh?!?! And they begin to laugh hysterically and make comments about me mocking my concern and how I was just an over protective mom of some autistic kid.

The other coworker also laughed at Wendy when Wendy said she promised she would call me back. The other coworker stated that she wouldn't have even bothered! !

The intake worker then comes back on the phone and realizes that I was not on hold. I advised her that I had heard their entire conversation about me. She freaks and says please hold. Then the phone rings and Wendy comes on trying to justify what she said.

Not only did they mock me but they mocked and made fun of my son. The one person they are to protect!!

I have never been so hurt and embarrassed in my life.

We are entrusting cruel young women with no children to make decisions for our families! !

Their behavior was atrocious and reprehensible!!
