Their comment that you should consult your lawyer skips all of the legal steps of the complaint process. At the very least, they are required to form an "Internal Complaints Review Panel" to whom you present your concern, and get a (most likely unsatisfying) response. Since they have already apologized, your foremost question will be, "what steps is the Society taking to ensure such an incident does not happen again"? | ||
