Contempt. "Whomever" should have been told that the children are ordered by the courts to have contact with the other parent and agreed to facilitate this PRIOR to the children being allowed to spend the night there. NC case law stipulates that parents have the right to determine with whom their children associate, Peterson v Rogers, 337 NC 397, 445 S.E. 2d @904 (1994). I think I would let "her" know if my calls aren't welcome, neither are my children. And PS, if she assumes the role "in loco parentis" for the custody, care, and well-being of those children she most certainly does have to abide by court orders.
