Question for the group. My ex contacted me this week regarding a conversation with MEP. She informed me she contacted them on March 14th wondering why she did not recieve her child support payment. She told me they responded by saying they had spoke to me the week previous regarding the payment I stated I have rufused to pay. The issue is I did make my regular payment and have forwarded the bank statement to them to confirm. I checked my MEP online and the payment does not show. My bank is working on this part. In the mean time I sent my ex an extra paymwnt via Etransfer so our son does not have to go without.

The issue I need some help/opinions on is her claim that MEP lied and said they spoke to me and I refused to pay. I called MEP, and because they have gone to assigned caseworkers I spoke to the same person she did. He confirmed he id speak to her on the 14th. He also confirmed, as my phone records show I have not spoken to there office since last fall. When I asked him about the statement he insisted he did not say that. I obviously do not know this man from a hole in the wall and have no idea if I should believe him, but to his credit when I relayed the statement word for word from my ex's text he sounded honestly surprised. My ex is not always honest, but her lies tend to serve a personal purpose, I can not see why she would make up this story, it does not help her. MEP records phone calls, I know they will not share her call with me due to privacy laws. Is anyone aware of a procedure to have a MEP supervisor review the recording and advise if her claim is true? Open to other suggestions. I really wanna know if I can trust the word of our MEP caseworker, seems like an honest reasonable guy, but then again so do most scammers. Thanks
