Hello. I had joint custody of my 6 year old daughter who's mother had primary care and control. Over the last year she was getting high off oxycodons and last year September she dropped my daughter off with my girlfriend and went to kill herself almost killing another person with her vehicle in the process. Cfs granted me temporary care and control. Since then I have been in the process of granting sole custody as her mother has been paying a lawyer to get her back full time once cfs allows her back. She can only go back into her care with a clean bill of health from her doctor.

My case conference is only in September, im attempting to apply again for legal aid but I would like to know anything and everything i can do to make sure she doesn't win my daughter back. She hasn't even gone to court yet for almost killing that other woman, if my daughter is placed back into her care there is still the issue of what if she goes to jail?? Any guidance would be helpful. Mpi is paying her disability now even though she is fine physically but she is having a fancy lawyer attempt to fix the wreckage she caused. I cant allow her to have my daughter back
