I am in need of advice. My Ex and I have been separated for over a year. During this period we resides in the same household from October till January last year. We separated October 1st and she had a boyfriend October 10th(seems irrelevant I know but it gives context). During this time I paid the mortgage, truck payment, credit card payments, camper and boat payment.

She wanted child support even though she was living with me for free. She took me to court. Previous years I had made $95K and she was making $45K. Without overtime I make $66K. So based on this information I was ordered to pay 717 a month in child support and 350 spousal support. My ex left all the family debt up to me to pay and now had a court order for me to pay $1067 a month.

I take home roughly $3200 a month, was paying $3200 a month in loans and now had the extra amount tacked on top. My lawyer stated I cannot do anything about the child support or spousal and to stop paying the mortgage, and all family debts. So I did, I started to make child support payments as much as I can afford $650 a month due to my GF having my baby and needing to move out of the family home into a rental property as foreclosure and bankruptcy was inevitable. My ex has constantly played games and lied on her affidavits (I have text conversations to prove the lies).

Even after a year she still tries to control my life, now she has taken me to maintenance enforcement right before Christmas and they are now taking $600 off each one of my pay cheques. I am stressed out beyond belief and have contimplated suicided multiple times. I want to seek help and counselling however if I go on stress leave and get the help I need I am afraid they will still take more than I can afford to give as my pay will drop to $1000 biweekly vs the $1600 I take home biweekly right now.
