My son and his former wife (a Canadian citizen) were legally married in 2010 in Honolulu Hawaii. That same year they welcomed a son. Two years later 2012 they were legally divorced in Honolulu Hawaii . A Hawaii Family Court judge allowed mother to leave Honolulu for Winnipeg Manitoba with the child. Since then Mother has been a resident of Winnipeg. She has not allowed visitation with the father , has actively attempted to alienated father and son and has blocked all attempts at communication that she is aware of. My son has litigated this decision all the way to Hawaii Supreme Court. They have refused to hear the case. My son has been advised to seek counsel in Manitoba. Does the boy, now 10 have the Civil right to communicate with his father? Can father arrange for a personal advocate for his son? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. ---Redacted -Grandmother

Primary objective and goal all along to destroy the ones who doesn't love them anymore is who doesn't deserve the love of "their child". Hi. I personally felt the bias of law enforcement just because I am a guy. One point in my life while I was with my ex gf she called the cops on me twice, the first time the cops wanted me out from the home we were renting during the winter with no money or no place to go the reason for this my gf was afraid of me and this was an arguement over our finances and her spending out of our budget that we agreed on, during this time I never threatened her in any way or form and this was the reason I wasnt arrested that evening, the second was roughly 8 years later when I was moving out and didnt want to deal with the issue of being cheated on that happen during the last 3 years of the relationship and at that moment I was overwhelmed with emotion like anger disappointment of trying to save my relationship with couples counseling and trying to be better me but came to realize I couldn't make her happy and she didnt love me anymore, so I moved out with a truck load of things majority what I paid for but I did leave things behind like my step daughters bedroom sets, their TVs, I didnt touch nothing from their rooms and other major appliances but cops where called and the cop was being an ass because my ex gf was crying and playing victim and didnt say why I left and again this cop couldnt do anything I didn't threaten her or hit her, my load was secured and it was things I bought, he asked her multiple times if I hit her, threatened her or if any of those items I had was hers and to my surprise she answered the truth.

Now that being over more than 3.5 years ago and during that time she has this cycle she will contact me saying she loves me, misses me, wanted our family back, calling me down, threatening me with court alienation of our two daughters not our step daughters and it was tough because she knew I wanted my family more than anything so I went back 3 times just to find out things havent change that I was being used for emotional and financial support and on the 3rd time I left with our youngst daughter and she taken our oldest daughter and havent been back since even though she has tried her tactics and I try not to give her attention and block her on my phone social media and eventually email because it got that bad and she uses our daughters to get me to communicate with her and when I try to coparent she trys to get me back and I've explained to her I dont want to go back many times because what she did and during that time she did gave me an STD gladly it was curable and the length she goes to for me to attend she had a birthday party for my step daughter at a hotel and she didnt invite her family that doenst like me because I was always the bad guy in her story and offered to pay my room at the hotel and wanted me to be there during the entire time which didn't turn out so well because I didnt want to be there and I explained why and for a conversation that should of taken seconds lasted 6mins because she wasnt liking my answer and tried to get me to change my mind.

So during this time I had drop off our youngst daughter and did my running around during my last errand a snow storm hit the city and I waited for 20mins to see if it would lose its momentum or slow down but it didnt so i called her up saying I wanted to pick up our daughter and head home(home is a 240km drive from the city) which she said no hang up on me and I reminded her that she wouldn't give me any trouble if anything like this would happen and to keep her word because this isnt the first time she did this where I couldnt pick up our girls or our daughter so eventually she stops answering her phone texts and I drive to the hotel and they are not at the pool so me and my brother head to the room(she still claims to be afraid of me is why I bring someone with me incase she says something that isn't true and the only neutral 3rd party i manage to get one time was Dilico and that time my ex gf that said she is so afraid of me had no trouble coming up into my personal space 6 inches from my face to her face and talk to me like nothing is wrong and stand next to me while the dilico worker was observing her actions and talking to me) when making our way to the room we meet up with her and she is with our oldest daughter making her way to the pool she walks past us not making any eye contact or saying anything but I didnt say anything just keep walking to the room and she turns around runs past us and says "you ain't taking the kids!" So she gets to her room locks us out and I am trying not to let my emotions get the better of me so I knock saying I would like to go home with our daughter before it gets any worst and this goes on 15 minutes and finally I said I will call the cops and she opens the door which leads to an arguement of why can't I stay why can't I leave her behind and I should get over it when she mention I should get over it was the last straw so I argued with my ex because of those words get over it which part exactly her fooling around her when I did go back because she wanted to work it out but was still fooling around? The trauma of the whole ordeal of what lead to us not being together? Or the aftermath of her still trying to get me back and using our kids to minipulte me? Only time I never had any issues with pick ups or drop offs is when she was in a relationship this includes length of time if it was a day or 2 weeks.

Dealing with her is exhausting even more so now that I met someone and been together 4months and within the week of the relationship my ex has up her game on contacting daily upto 3 times per day and the biggest thing was she said she is pregnant by email and there was no way I could be the day because she would of been 5 months pregnant when I met my gf(during that time I did go back to try again my 3rd and final time that lasted 8days because of her phone chats a guy was asking when he can come over and he missed her and what out oldest daughter showed me what was on her phone and it was a video she sent out saying how she would do things to him if he came to visit different guy by the way) after 3weeks of reminder her to only contact me if it regards our girls and I contacted the opp telling them she is harassing me and a week later this extended to my gf and my gf asked if I was fooling around with her I said no and at this time I became aware my ex has been contacting my gf saying we are back together, she was ruining our family, she was pregnant and I go see her when I am not with her. This has caused issues in our relationship and my ex has no trouble trying to cause trouble because I dont play her game she alienated our daughter from me I tried 3 weeks to contact her to try and spend time with her(our oldest daughter has left me a text message saying it's her mom pretending to be her) so I am at the bowling alley with my gf and our kids and my ex comes out of nowhere giving me a mean look and tells me our oldest daughter would of liked to be here(prior to this event our oldest daughter decided to stay with me for three months where she got to enjoy it but didnt like what her mom was doing(the texts saying I miss you baby, I am crying, i wont leave you behind no more to go out, she got a pet she tried daily to get our daughter to feel sorry for her and bribes of being a better mom and a pet.

The reason why our daughter decided to stay with me was of the neglect of being left home and only seeing her mom a few hours a day this includes work and her night life and money that is meant for our daughter went to her spending going out) when our daughter moved with me she had clothes from the last time I bought her from 8 months ago and she notice the difference between me and her mom and she would let me know by saying "mom doesn't do that or i like you do that for me" so bought her new clothes, shoes, hair cut doing right by our daughter but went of track that I needed to contact the opp a third time just to find out the first two didnt do nothing but taken my statement and the third one(female officer) did her duty and I was contacted again indirectly by the ex and false allegations on social media and waiting on a follow up because they have trouble getting a hold of her.


In my experience things are in favour of one sex over the other if its law enforcement or court for custody and I dont see nothing changing soon. But, would like to see equality and when it comes to child support it should be meant for the kids not for the parent to spend on themselves so a monitor of how they spend it and if its deem unnecessary should reduce or cut off the support because it not being used for its purpose. No parent should being struggling financially during and after court.

My rights were violated and my children are being alienated.

I would love yo have the Fathers right movement involved and have all the discriminated fathers rally up wth me.

Im ready to protest anytime soon. This weekend is great if we can synchronize.

Hey guys, I'm ———(redacted)and throughout my marriage I dealt with a 5-year court battle stemming from the alienation of my husband's son.

Since assisting him through Family Court I have helped nine other men navigate the system and helped with paperwork over the last 3 years. I'm not a lawyer or anything of that sort I'm just passionate about helping men or any parent that is suffering through PAS.

Here's a really quick explanation of the situation I'm working on....

So I'm currently working with the dad "G" who has been alienated for about a year, his ex-wife will once a week or so will bring the children to a Tim Hortons or such and sit with them at the same table and speak on the children's behalf... it's extremely awkward the children literally squirm with discomfort and typically only lasts about 10 or 15 minutes before one of the children wants to leave.

the most recent 2 Tim Horton's visits only the four year old went inside for hot chocolate with dad while the other two sat in the van in the parking lot with mom because they " don't even want to see him" she says. He calls multiple times a week to try and talk to the kids on her phone or the 11 year olds...neither answer.



He paid for an arranged reunification counselling appts to which she said the children don't want to attend and she wont deaf them, she also just messaged him today to say that the nine-year-old requested she call to let him know they don't want him attending their school Christmas concert tonight.

She constantly and consistently claims the children don't want to see him and that she is respecting their wishes and he should too..she often reminds him he's not welcome at sports or School concerts and such as the children 11 ,9 and 4 do not want him there and she doesn't want to deal with the mess after of how upset the children are if was show up and watch.

We are currently on the final draft of a separation agreement with her lawyer that lays out a detailed parenting plan that begins with Saturday December 28th visit.. I'm not a hundred percent that it will be signed by then.....but our future plan is to go for contempt of court once its signed and some time has passed...... the advice I'm seeking today is... we know the children will cry and not want to go with him on the 28th but he will show up to attempt to pick up anyway..

100% the mother will support their decision to not spend time with their dad and most likely cry in front of them (she does this often)

Any suggestions on how he goes about even trying to re-enter their lives at this point let alone attempt this visit in a couple weeks? I'm at a loss of what to even advise him to do because she has made up her mind that her kids don't want to have a father and she's completely happy to support that.

It has been 10 years since My husband has had no relationship with his son. And on and off since child was born) He is now almost 20 years old and wants nothing to do with his father and his family. The custodial parent has done everything in her power to alienate child from my husband by telling the child that we have no interest in being part of his life and then blocking all access to child as a way of confirming to him that 
we don’t love him. While my Husband has had court orders allowing access to visit his child, the custodial parent has continued to violate these orders. Charges of contempt have little effects as a judge is hesitant to issue a finding of contempt as they do not want to imprison the custodial parent or fine them, the only options under the Family Law Act. Birthdays come and go, Christmas, other special days, and my husband is prevented from participating in his child`s life. Now that the child is old enough to make their own decisions the custodial parent will have completely alienated my children from me and they will never recover. While the Family Responsibility Office acts as a powerful collection agency for the custodial parent, there is nothing in place to enforce the non custodial parent’s rights to see their children, to participate in their lives, their well being, their education, and to tell our children that we love them. While there are many issues with the court system that need to be addressed, you have the power to correct some of these injustices with changed to the Family Responsibilities Office.

By changing the mandate of the Family Responsibility Office from a collection agency to an enforcement agency that has the ability to make sure that not only are support payments are enforced but that access orders are also enforced. There are many divorced couples that have been successfully able to ensure that both parents are involved in the lives of their children, they are not the issue. The issue is when one parent chooses to punish the other parent by blocking all access to the children. These are the cases that require assistance. With the power of the Family Responsibility Office, adding in the power to withhold payments to the custodial parent if they refuse to follow court ordered access could be a great step towards correcting access rights. When a judge issues an order in a valid court in Ontario, one would expect that the order is not a suggestion, it is an order to be obeyed. When a judge issues a support order, it is enforced by FRO, when a judge issues an access order, why can it not also be enforced by FRO. The non custodial parent currently has no options except paying for a lawyer to go back to the courts for another order that the custodial parent will violate again. Contempt doesn’t seem to be an option in the current system. But a financial penalty could go far to correcting the actions of the custodial parent. I am not suggesting that the support payments be forfeited, only held back until the custodial parent chooses to follow the court ordered access orders. I would expect that most of the time this would correct the actions of the custodial parent, however consideration must be still given to those that will deny access for several months and then allow one visit to collect the support payments and reset the clock and then go back to violating the order. As most divorced parties do not need this, they are more concerned about the well being of their children than punishing the other parent, provisions only need to be made to allow the non custodial parent to call for this enforcement.

Every child deserves two parents, you have the power to make this happen. I am calling on you to support changes to the Family Responsibility Office to turn it from a collection agency to an agency that ensure that Family Responsibilities includes raising and loving our children. Every child deserves two parents that love them.

Hello. I need some help finding a lawyer in the Lethbridge area. My kids mother is a monster. I have custody of my daughter now but she is fighting with no right to keep my child support garnished to her pocket. Has alienated me from my son now going on 6 months. Refuses to help with the huge orthodontist costs. Has recently tried to unlawfully detain my daughter from returning to my custody. The courts have allowed this to drag on for 5 months now. In the past has exploited maintenance, held my kids away for months on dozens of occasions, been awarded a settlement for backpay. A trial will be set in the next few weeks for the more recent issues. I am self representing as I am not eligible for legal aid with my income but my daughters needs and the orthodontist costs have not allowed me to pay for a lawyer. This monster needs to have the book thrown at her and be made an example of. Do you know of any lawyer who might help a guy stuck in my predicament?
