Children's Aid of Ontario tactic Powerful as God: Withdrawal from proceedings no contact with ex

My lawyer emailed me today, she wants me to settle with the Children's Aid Society of Ontario, this is the deal offered, 100% withdrawal from proceedings IF I agree my one child (13 yr old) was in need protection from my ex, NOT from me, that I am the one who protected her. and sign a voluntary agreement regarding the one child with ONLY condition she to have no contact with ex.

She would legally have to sign and I don't think she will . With this deal I 1) don't get the answers to my questions and 2) don't get a trial. I could really use some advise/support as I really don't know what to do. I don't want to sign she was in need protection from ANYONE.

Never sign any agreement if it is not fair and just for the circumstances. Once you sign she was in need of protection, you have in effect admitted you are guilty and this will be forever used against you. Plea bargaining is a typical Children's Aid Society of Ontario tactic to label you as an abuser. Never fall for these tactics.

Get your 13 year old to submit an affidavit to the court if she is mature enough.
